Custom light up sign and 3D printed lamps
We 3D print the housing, the shape and the logo, then fit low-voltage LED lighting inside. The finished piece sits on a counter, in a shop window or on a bedroom shelf.

A custom logo lamp, 3D printed around your design
The whole shape is designed for your project, rather than an image stuck onto a standard frame.
It works much like a lightbox: a 3D printed housing holds the LEDs, and one face lets the light through your logo, some lettering or a silhouette. The opaque parts are printed in a dark colour, and the parts meant to glow in thin, pale filament that diffuses the light.
Because everything is modelled in the workshop, the lamp can follow the outline of your logo, an animal or a name. We can also play with the plastic's thickness: the thinner it is, the brighter that area shines.
A typical example: a hair salon wants its logo by the till. We take the file from their business card, print the outline in black and the symbol in translucent white, then slide an LED strip into the base. The USB cable comes out discreetly at the back, to a socket or a charger.
Custom light up signs and logo lamps: where they go
A few common cases, from shop counters to children's bedrooms.
Dimensions are agreed with you based on where the piece will sit: a night light fits on a bedside table, while a reception logo has to be readable from the door. Above a certain size, the housing is printed in several parts and assembled.
These pieces are made for indoor use. For an illuminated shopfront sign, a sign maker is the right contact.
| Use | Typical format | What goes on it |
|---|---|---|
| Shop counter or reception | Illuminated logo on a base | Business logo, name of the venue |
| Shop window | Free-standing light-up sign | Logo, a short word, opening hours |
| Trade show stand | Portable lightbox | Logo and strapline |
| Client or team gift | Small desk lamp | Logo, date, message |
| Child's bedroom | Night light or name lamp | First name, an animal, a favourite character |
| Living room, decoration | Mood lamp | Silhouette, city skyline, pattern |
Ordering a custom lamp: the steps
- Send your artwork : A logo in SVG or PDF, a scanned child's drawing, a photo of a sketch, or simply a name and a font. Tell us where the lamp will stand.
- We design the lamp : Shape, size, lit areas and cable position. You receive a preview of the 3D model and we fine-tune it with you.
- Printing and assembly : The housing and front are printed, then we fit the LED strip or modules and check how evenly the light spreads.
- Collection or delivery : Collect in person in the Minimes district of Toulouse, or have it sent within France by Mondial Relay or Colissimo.
Low-voltage LED lighting
- Power : Low-voltage LED lighting, usually powered by USB or a small adapter. The quote states how your piece is powered.
- Light colour : Warm white, neutral white or coloured, depending on the mood you want and the shade of plastic the light passes through.
- Indoor use : Made for a counter, a shelf or a bedside table. We don't offer illuminated pieces for outdoor use.
- Plastic and heat : LEDs run cool. The housing stays in PLA or PETG, and we leave an air gap around the components.
Illuminated logo: one-off or short run
One lamp for a child's birthday, or a dozen illuminated logos for several shops: the 3D model stays the same, and each piece can carry a different name or town.
For a run intended for clients or a team, we first make a reference piece. You see it switched on, we adjust the brightness or the thickness of the pale areas if needed, then we produce the rest.
The same logo can also exist without lighting, as a 3D printed logo for a wall. Delivery from our online orders covers France only; for another country, contact us and we'll tell you whether shipping is possible and what it costs. You can write to us in English.
Frequently asked questions
What do I need to provide for a custom lamp?
A logo, a drawing or a name is enough. A vector file in SVG or PDF is ideal, but a sharp image or a scanned drawing also works: we redraw it if needed.
How is the lamp powered?
It uses low-voltage LEDs, usually powered by USB or a small mains adapter. The exact method is stated on the quote.
Will I see the design before it's made?
Yes. You receive a preview of the 3D model and we adjust it with you before printing starts.
Can you make a lamp with my child's name?
Yes, it's a popular choice for a night light or bedroom lamp. You can pick the font and add an animal or a small drawing.
Can the light colour be changed?
Yes, depending on the LEDs chosen: warm white, neutral white or coloured. Tell us the mood you want and we'll pick the LED and plastic combination that gives it best.
Can the lamp be used outdoors?
No, our lamps and illuminated logos are made for indoor use: a counter, a shop window, a desk or a bedroom.
How is this different from an acrylic photo lamp?
A photo lamp engraves an image onto a flat sheet. Here, the shape of the lamp itself is 3D printed around your logo or name.
How much does an illuminated logo cost?
The price depends on the size, the design work and the type of lighting. The quote is free.
